National Tree Week from 24th Nov to 1st Dec 2019
National Tree Week was first started by the tree council in 1975. It’s the UKs largest tree celebration and launches the start of tree planting season. It ends with Tree dressing day on Sunday 2nd December.
Tree dressing day is a powerful way to express our relationship with trees. It’s a great way to give thanks to trees and a way to raise awareness of the value of trees.
The simplicity of tying a piece of yarn or coloured ribbon to a tree is a traditional that is universal and timeless.
At Thorp Perrow we invite you collect a piece of ribbon, tie it onto our designated Dressing Day tree and make your wish.
(Free of Charge, standard entry charges apply)
