The licensed Tea Room serves a mouth-watering selection of seasonal lunches, snacks, hot & cold drinks and treats. Children have their own dedicated menu, perfect for re-fuelling after running wild and free in the adventure playground! Highchairs and a range of baby weaning foods are available for the smallest of visitors.
Where possible, local producers are selected to supply the meats, breads and cakes served in the Tearoom and we are proud to be associated with these great local suppliers: Masham Sausages, Cockburn Butchers, Spring House Farm Shop, Nutmeg Creative Cakery, Carrick’s Fish, Fruit & Veg, Bedale Community Bakery, Black Sheep Brewery and Yorkshire Tea.
Both indoor and outdoor seating areas are available, and the Tearoom can be visited without purchasing an Arboretum entry ticket – perfect for a delicious lunch on a wet day!
Please note dogs (except assistance dogs) are not permitted inside the Tearoom, please secure them outside while you purchase your meal. Your furry friend is then welcome to join you on the patio or lawned seating areas. During busy periods, we respectfully ask you to leave all non-essential prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs in the covered area opposite the tearoom to allow staff and visitors to move unhindered around the Tearoom.
